Notebook Bags From Recycled Inner Tubes

Passchal is involved in a unique mostly green enterprise. They make a variety of bags from recycled truck and tractor inner tubes. I just got an email informing me of its existence this morning and I found the Company's products wonderful enough to include here.

"A handcrafted handbag made from used truck/tractor tire inner tubes, hand dyed leather or non-leather faux trim. Every inner tube has different markings and raised lines which come from the original manufacturer of the inner tube. Some have blemishes & scars which occur from the wear & tear of the road."
OK, guys, I'm not trying to sell you on women's handbags. Passchal uses the term "handbag" to refer to any bag you carry by holding a handle, like this manly notebook bag.

And dig that NASCAR-like handle.

One of the coolest features of Passchal bags, including the notebook bag, is the interior lighting system, which illuminates the bag so you can easily see what's inside.

Check out Passchal's notebook bag, which the Virginia Company calls a "Tech Brief" (sounds like underwear), at the Passchal's website.
Price $165 normally; on sale right now for $123.75.
